According to the Tridosha theory of Ayurveda, three energies circulate throughout our being & govern our physical, mental & emotional characteristics. These energies are called Doshas. The five elements - Ether, Air, Fire, Water & Earth - bind together to form the concept of Doshas: Vata, Pitta & Kapha.
Vata = Blend of Ether + Air
Pitta = Blend of Fire + Water
Kapha = Blend of Water + Earth
When there is balance among these three doshas, you will experience equanimity & an incredible level of 'aliveness' & health. Imbalances can lead to dis-ease.
Elements: Space + Air
"I stay grounded, no matter the direction or force of the wind."
Vata translated from Sanskrit means 'wind' & is the energy that controls movement in the body. Vata energy gives motion to all your biological activities & is the motivating power behind the other two doshas. It supports physical and mental activity, blood circulation, lymphatic & nervous system, respiratory tract & brings about feeling of relief and relaxation. This traditional blend of ayurvedic herbs & spices has been proven for centuries to have beneficial & balancing effects on individuals with the following predominant Vata characteristics:
- Poor circulation to the limbs, dry skin, poor digestion
- Muscle tremors, poor stamina, pain & stiffness in the joints
